After graduation you will be able to provide scientifically based, interdisciplinary and future-oriented rehabilitation services in everyday situations, in cooperation with users and their next of kin. You will also be qualified to participate in the development of services and contribute to administrative and policy decisions.

The programme is based on notions and principles of everyday rehabilitaton, with a focus on interaction at all levels and on rehabilitation as a process to promote participation.
Suitable for managers and professionals
The programme is intended for professionals who directly or indirectly provide rehabilitation services to people in municipal, state or private enterprises. The programme is also suitable for managers responsible for coordination or planning in municipal or state rehabilitation or habilitation enterprises.

Can be incoparated as part of a master's degree
The descriptions of learning outcomes are at the master’s level. The course can be taken on its own (continuing/further education) or incorporated into the master’s degree in citizenship and interaction at VID Sandnes.
A bachelor’s degree or three-year university college degree in healthcare, social and welfare studies. Applicants with a degree of the same scope in educational science or social sciences can be admitted after an individual assessment. You may also apply on the basis of prior learning and work experience.
