Academic profile

Hugrun Osk Gudjonsdottir holds a master's degree in cultural management from Bifrost University in Iceland. In addition, she has a bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Iceland. Hugrun has been employed as a research assistant at the Centre for Intercultural Communication from July 2016. During the period 2016-2019, she will work in the project "Doing Family across Borders: A Comparative Study of Work, Family and Welfare Strategies among Polish Migrants in Norway, Sweden, and The UK ", funded by the Norwegian Research Council. In addition, in the period of 2016-2018, Hugrun will work as a project assistant in the “KOMÅP-project”, financed by The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, to give employees in open kindergartens a competence-building project.
