Conditions for being able to apply for a "Green" grant:
All students at VID who have been granted a place on a study stay through Erasmus + can apply. This applies to students who take either a subject or an internship, regardless of the length of their stay. In order to be considered, environmentally friendly transport must be used throughout the journey. The itinerary and date of travel must be visible on the travel document. By environmentally friendly transport is meant train or bus. If you choose other solutions, you must contact the international office.
How to participate?
You participate by submitting an application form via the online form. The application must be sent by 1 February for the spring semester, and 1 June for the autumn semester.
Up to 10 scholarships of NOK 2,000 are awarded each semester. The draw will be conducted by the Student Parliament, with the International Office as a witness, and will be arbitrary.
The scholarship will be paid before departure. All proof must be submitted to the International Office, no later than 14 days after the planned return. If it is not possible to refer to the correct travel document for train and / or bus, the scholarship will be deducted from the last payment of the Erasmus + scholarship.
The winners of environmental grants will be announced on the website for internationalization, on vid.no, as well as social media. The winners will also be contacted by email to organize a payout.
- If there are less than 10 applicants for the current semester, only a corresponding number of scholarships will be paid.
- We reserve the right to withhold Erasmus + scholarships, if proof of completed travel is not sufficient or credible.
- Scholarships that have been guaranteed but not used, can be awarded in a new draw. It will then be drawn among the applicants who were not awarded in the first round. The International Office will then contact those affected.
